Match Report: VCF Mestalla end preseason with narrow home loss to UD Ibiza (0-1)

VCF Mestalla played their final preseason match on regional day against UD Ibiza with Cirio’s early second half spot-kick proving the difference on the day and just days away from the start of the competition.

The visitors had a strong start to the game setting a high tempo and exerting a high pressure on VCF Mestalla in the early goings. However, Valencia CF Mestalla grew in the game as time went off seeing more of the ball.

The first half finished without further incidents with nothing to separate the sides at halftime.

Cirio put the visitors in front from twelve yards out. Valencia CF searched for an equaliser right after the visitors’ lead with the outcome of the game yet to be decided Noha came close to equalising in the closing minutes of the match.  

VCF Mestalla end their pre-season with a positive ebalance of 6 wins 2 draws and 4 losses. Valencia CF will be back in action away at Atzeneta UE on matchday 1 of Segunda  B at Campo Municipal El Regit.
